Tenant & Leases Tab Update

Hey everyone, I’m Alex, the Product Manager at Hemlane, and I’m excited to share an update to the Tenant & Leases tab.

Tenant and Leases in Hemlane

One of the most important parts of lease management is having clear visibility into what is happening across your rentals. Rental owners told us they wanted faster access to tenant balances, lease status, and key details without having to click into multiple screens. So we made meaningful improvements to give you a better summary view right when you open the tab.

Updates to Tenants & Leases View

With this update, you can:

  • See tenant balances directly from the main Tenant & Leases view
  • Use smart filters like unread messages
  • Quickly move between new move-ins, ending leases, and move-outs

Now, when you log in, you can immediately see which leases are active, which are ending soon, and which tenants may need follow up. Smart filters help you focus on unread messages so you can respond faster and stay organized.

For rental owners managing multiple units, this update helps reduce manual tracking and improves visibility across your portfolio. Whether you manage one property or many, strong lease management starts with having the right information in front of you.

If you want to learn more about how Hemlane supports lease management, you can explore our lease management software here.

The updated Tenant & Leases tab is now live in Hemlane. Log in today to see the improvements and experience a clearer way to manage your leases and tenants.
