One experience with leasing a property is when one of my tenants that rented the upper unit of a 2 family flat that I managed asked me if I could find another home for her because she had MS and it was very hard for her to walk up and down the stairs and some days she just stayed home in the bed in pain. She was on disability and could not afford more than what she was currently paying for the 2 bedroom flat. At that time I was purchasing a 3 bedroom ranch home from one of my Investors for an investment property and so I told her I had the perfect home for her. I drove her to the house and when she saw the house she immediately looked at me and started to cry. She could not believe it. She gave me a big hug and cried. It made me happy to see her happy. That was 5 years ago and she is still a tenant in the home. That is why I enjoy working in real estate and property management. It allows me to help people find a nice home and help owners to relax knowing their investment is in good hands. I am a licensed realtor with experience in managing single and multi family homes as well as apartment complexes. I provide Project Management services for my investors who want to fix and flip properties . I have owned my own Property Management company which I considered a One Stop Shop because I was able to provide the following services: Leasing Rehab / Renovation Maintenance Buy and Sell Listing on MLS I had the experience of managing a Rehab of a Multifamily home into a single family home for retail sale. The property was in disrepair and we had to totally gut it down to the studs. It was totally re-wire, re-plumbed and all new drywall was put in. We opened up walls to extend the kitchen in the lower unit and also removed kitchen in upper unit and extended the bedroom to include a huge walk -in closet. It sold for $169K.
