Our Strategy

Mid American Properties is a locally owned & operated property management group managing single & multi-family residential rentals in Fairmont, Minnesota. Our unique access to off-market properties grants us the ability to renovate and rent clean affordable housing, where the available housing is generally in severe disrepair. We acquire and manage property to sell or rent, deliver above-average & stable passive returns to our investors, and facilitate an online marketplace for real estate & housing in Southern Minnesota.

Why Fairmont, Minnesota?

Between 1970-2008, real estate investors made fortunes while property values exploded in the markets we are now familiar with. Since 2008, appreciation and cash flow have been harder to come by, but many investors do not realize that high-cash returns still exist in areas they’d never expect; rural agricultural self-sustaining micro-economies. We believe these micro-economies are recession-resistant because property values are low, demand for rental units is high, and the four most exported agricultural resources are produced locally; corn, pork, beef, and soybeans.
